Our story
A long way round,
A long way round,
and then all at once.
Six years, three cities, and one very good corgi later — we found our way to this. Here are a few of the moments that brought us here.

The first night.
A friend's housewarming in Lisbon. Christy stayed late because the conversation wouldn't end; Kelwin walked her home through Bairro Alto at four in the morning, talking about everything and nothing in particular.

The keys to a small apartment.
We moved in together above a bakery in Alfama. The floors creaked, the windows rattled in the wind, and the smell of fresh bread came up through the floorboards every morning at six. It was perfect.

A walk through the hills of Sintra.
On the path above Quinta da Regaleira, in the fog, Kelwin asked and Christy said yes — though she still claims she said it twice, because the first one was carried off by the wind.
